Okay y'all probably read the update notes for 5.11.0 by now but

HOLY SHIT, LINUS IS GETTING A SECOND REFINE!

Well, more like he shared a refine with Raven's weapon and now Linus is actually being focused on. Either way, I am stoked!

Speaking of (Legendary) Marth and Tiki, they're getting remixes!

He'll be getting Shining Emblem as a special, the same as his Brave version. He'll also get Binding Shield 2. A simple upgrade, that allows him to activate Binding Shield on non dragons, providing Marth has 5 or more speed. This changes nothing against dragon units who are already fucked(Unless you're using Null C-Disrupt or something).

Unfortunately, this means Marth doesn't get an inheritable skill.

Legendary Tiki gets Slick Fighter and With Everyone 2. The skill previously gave +5 Def/Res to Tiki and any adjacent allies if an ally was adjacent to her at the start of her turn. The updated skill grants +6 to Tiki and any allies within 2 spaces of her if an ally is within 2 spaces of her. More importantly, Tiki also gets the [Savior] effect again ranged foes. She'll get +4 to all stats during combat during this.

Some very interesting stuff datamined this update.

Segdar is going to have Instant Bow+.. and Atk/Def Catch 3. That's going to be great for inheritance bridging, and unlike push skills, the level 3 of Catches aren't so bad. +5 Atk/Def during combat if the foe has a penalty, or the foe is at 100%. (Where as the push requires you to be at 100%, and will damage you after a single combat).

Ooh, Ascended events!

Apparently we're also getting Vyland as a drop in 3*-4* Though he won't be available to pull on the New Heroes banner(For some reason), we'll be able to get two 5* copies of him via quests. He'll actually show up in the summoning pool for a future Special Heroes banner.

We'll be getting login bonues, 60 of each flower, 10 trait fruit, and 30 grails.

Daily Summoning Banners. 12 days, 12 skill banners, 24 hours for each of them. The banners and what heroes show up on them can be found in the notications.

It's discussed on the trailer.

Basically, it allows you to give a unit a second Boon. You get one for summoning an Ascended Hero(Which is Fjorm in the upcoming New Heroes banner). Apparently we only get it the first time we summon said hero, so no multiple florets for summoning an Ascended Hero a bunch of times. Additionally, the Ascended Hero themselves get to select their second boon without the need for one.

Also Malice with the most relatable line.

"I try to save up but, the moment the money comes in it goes back out again."

Tailtiu's resplendent has been out for a while, and I'm having a lot of fun with her. Gave her a new build.



Ideally she'd be +Atk, but she kills well enough from what I can tell. The art is a huge improvement, and I think it's a nice mix of cute and sexy. To be honest I haven't even played Genealogy of the Holy War, but this character somehow really resonated with me.

And apparently her story... isn't a happy one.

Anyway, we'll probably get a New Heroes trailer on the 15th. Mythic banner is at the end of the month, so odds are good that an OC is going to bite it.

W!Altina is pretty great. Mostly got her because she was sparkable(And I was dumping all my orbs on that banner anyway... just not for her).

S!Myrrh(I swear I"ll never spell her name properly without looking it up...) was pulled purely because they're adorable.

I do agree that going all in just for Harmonic Battles doesn't seem worth, especially once merges will start being required to go to T21. They're nice to have around for Limited Battles though, especially since they can potentially be used twice.

Male Kana.... eh? Not really sure if I want to commit. I'd probably go Distant Counter/Distant Pressure, Dragon Wall/Ire, and whatever C skill.

But by that time, who knows what my plans will be. Not exactly planning to pull for dragon fodder.
